Hi there,

Welcome to Arch Gully. For many years my husband and I have dreamed of a self sufficient lifestyle and tree change. 2019 is the year we finally took the leap and bought our forever home north of Brisbane with acreage aplenty for our kids to run around on and for me to get my hands dirty gardening.

Whilst this has been a dream backed by years of reading and planning, the practical side has been somewhat lacking due to the limitations of apartment living. Therefore everything I do in the garden is experimenting and trial and error. I hope to share what I learn and maybe save someone else some of my anguish.

I intend to blog nearly ever inane thought that goes into this journey of ours, and hopefully follow through from some of my bizarre ideas through to fruition And I hope you join my along the way.
